IT CAME FROM… The Fallout Shelter
One of the ideas that I came up with for reorganizing the Fallout Shelter was to create a “Recommended Reading” section. Every week or so, we would take the books that we thought really stood out as something special and put them on a rack near the register. On our second week of doing this, we had an empty spot on the rack so we looked for a good book to fill the hole. The book we decided on was INCOGNEGRO , a trade paperback from DC’s VERTIGO imprint. When I went to take the photo of the rack for the purpose of posting on my website, this is what I discovered:
We had placed INCOGNEGRO right next to INCOGNITO, a recent hot seller from Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips. We’ve sold a few copies of each book so far since they were placed there, so we’re going to keep them there for a little while longer. This was just a happy little accident that I thought was amusing and wanted to share.
